Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

🔒 Short version: ResolveTime stores all data locally on your Mac. Nothing is ever sent to a server. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.

1. Who is responsible

Julian Sekora
Süderstraße 33, 24955 Harrislee, Germany
Email: support@resolvetime.app

2. What data the app collects

ResolveTime stores the following data locally on your Mac, in the file ~/.davinci_tracker_data.json:

  • Names of DaVinci Resolve projects you have opened
  • Start and end times of tracked sessions
  • Manual time adjustments and comments you have entered
  • App settings (inactivity timeout, Finder tracking preference)

This data never leaves your device. ResolveTime has no server connection and requires no internet access after license activation.

3. License activation

When you activate a license key, the app contacts the Lemon Squeezy API to verify the key. During this request, your license key and a device identifier are transmitted to Lemon Squeezy's servers. This is the only time data leaves your device. See Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details.

4. Website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. No personal data is collected by visiting this site.

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 Pine Street, Suite 701, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Vercel may process server logs including IP addresses. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data. Since all app data is stored locally on your Mac, you can view and delete it at any time by editing or deleting the file ~/.davinci_tracker_data.json.

For questions or requests related to purchase data held by Lemon Squeezy, contact us at support@resolvetime.app.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where possible, notify you via the app or email.
